Duet is a lighting collection designed for Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, developed across two different spatial contexts within the building. The collection is based on a single curved, tubular geometry and exists in two material series: 3D Printed and Cast.
While sharing the same form and lighting logic, each series responds to its specific environment through material, colour, and production method.
The 3D Printed Series was engineered for fast in-house production and allows for brighter, more expressive colour schemes. This series supports the energetic and experimental atmosphere of M, the informal performance and meeting space, where light plays an active role in shaping mood and identity.
The Cast Series was developed for the main foyer. Cast in acrylic resin, the material creates a dense, stone-like tone with depth and softness, giving the lights a composed and durable presence suited to an architectural setting where light supports orientation, atmosphere, and continuity.
With its bent geometry, Duet refers to the curves found in copper instruments. Each fixture can rotate via a small fastening detail at the base, and multiple lights can be mounted along a single vertical tube, allowing flexible compositions across different spaces.
